Staff benefits

We believe in supporting our employees both in and out of the workplace with a range of benefits.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Our EAP is a free, confidential service available to all staff and their families. It offers support for a variety of personal issues, including health, financial stress, family, relationships, bereavement and work-related concerns.

Pension contributions

We offer a defined contribution pension scheme through salary sacrifice, starting at a 6% employer contribution with a 2% employee contribution. Employees can also opt for match funding up to 10% from both the employer and the employee.

Study loan policy

Full-time staff who have completed their probationary period may be eligible for a study loan to cover the costs of gaining professional qualifications relevant to their role and career development.

Cycle to Work scheme

Through our cycle scheme, you can save up to 42% on a new bike and accessories. No upfront payment is required, and deductions are made tax-efficiently from your salary.

Season ticket loan

We offer a loan equivalent to the cost of an annual season ticket for your commute, covering rail, underground, bus or coach travel.

Discounted contents insurance

In partnership with Royal and Sun Alliance, we provide discounted contents insurance for both residents and employees.

Other perks

  • 20% discount on decorating materials at Brewers Decorators.
  • Free eye care vouchers from Smart Employee Eyecare.
  • Our benefits are designed to support your well-being and professional growth, making ISHA a great place to build your career.

Our commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion

We’re dedicated to building a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.

Disability Confident employer

We are proud to be recognised as a Disability Confident employer, offering equal opportunities and support for individuals with disabilities.

Equity, diversity, and inclusion council

Our equality, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) council is made up of passionate ISHA volunteers. They work closely with the CEO and Board to shape and implement our ED&I strategy, ensuring that policies, work plans, audits and initiatives are fair and inclusive. The council also provides a route for employees to raise any ED&I concerns, giving confidence that all issues will be addressed thoroughly and thoughtfully.

Celebrating diversity

The ED&I council organises educational and celebratory events to recognise and honour the diversity within our team, creating a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.

Training and development

We offer training opportunities to help employees engage with residents and with each other respectfully, culturally informedly, and sensitively, considering various cultures, sexual orientations, and identities.

Diversity is at the heart of what we do, and we’re committed to building a team that reflects the varied backgrounds and experiences of the communities we serve.
