Knock, knock. 'Who's there?' "It's ISHA, wanting to hear your views."
What better way is there than in person to gather feedback, and that's exactly what our new Neighbourhood knock is all about.

Knock, knock. 'Who's there?' "It's ISHA, wanting to hear your views."
What better way is there than in person to gather feedback, and that's exactly what our new Neighbourhood knock is all about.
On a sunny day in August, 11 ISHA staff members carried out the “Neighbourhood Knock” across 73 households in Haringey and Camden. Staff worked in pairs to visit homes, talk to residents, record their views and act on issues raised.
It was such a useful and well appreciated opportunity to connect. We were warmly welcomed and told how heartening it was to see a friendly face from ISHA at the door, to have the chance to chat, and share what matters most.
We talked with residents about repairs and maintenance of their home and building. We also listened to what factors had a positive, or negative impact on their sense of safety. We talked about communication, and discussed ways that ISHA could keep residents more informed and updated on the latest news regarding their estate.
After the day we sent residents a follow up letter sharing the main topics which emerged, and our response.
We will be carrying out more Neighbourhood Knocks, and whilst we aren’t able to reach all households in the first year, we are committed to listening to what you have to say, be it in other ways. Contact Sophie, ISHA Resident and Community Involvement Lead, to discuss more about how to have your say, or get more involved.
