Are you passionate about social housing and want to make a difference? The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is looking for new members to join their Resident Panel.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for social housing residents to have a direct route to engage with Ministers and officials, ensuring that your views and experiences help shape social housing policy and delivery. 

As a panel member, you will have the chance to: 

  • Provide feedback on government housing policies and proposals
  • Share your experiences and insights on social housing issues
  • Participate in discussions and research activities with Ministers and officials.

When's the deadline?

The MHCLG is currently recruiting new panel members and will be accepting applications until 11pm on Sunday, 7 September.

How do I apply?

The application process is straightforward, and residents can apply online to join the panel [applications are now closed]. Applications are open to anyone who lives in homes for social rent, affordable rent, and low-cost homeownership.
