Taking part on contractor recruitment panel
We are calling out for residents to get involved, by giving your views and opinions to help improve ISHA for the better. There are a variety of ways we can do this across the organisation. You choose how to be involved, depending on what you want to get out of it and take part in ways that suit you.

Check over the communications we send out to residents to make sure they are well written and informative for residents.
Help to shape ISHA's leaflets, letter templates and annual report.
Work with our team to help reach more residents and collect resident interest stories we can publish online.

Attend meetings, workshops, and other consultations to help co-create ISHAs involvement of residents through shaping the new Strategy.
Eight residents participated in three sessions to help develop our new website.
Here are a few key things residents raised with us:
“It’s important there is clear contact information for specific teams. I don’t want to have to call a switchboard, I want to get to the right team straight away”.
"You should use simpler language and a friendlier tone that is more conversational”
“There should be even more key information available at a glance".
For more information on the communications panel and other opportunities to get involved, see our resident involvement strategy (PDF, 1.1mb).
We will be holding a Neighbourhood Night near you!
It's a one-stop shop to speak to our staff about whatever you need. Colleagues and contractors will be present to speak to you about the following:
Free hot food is provided for all. Residents are made welcome with fun activities to join in. You can also meet members of the Resident Scrutiny Panel and use the opportunity to give general views and feedback relating to ISHA and your home.
“Events like these make it all so much easier, you can meet staff face to face.”
“Great communication, compassionate staff and a productive use of my evening.”
“It was so nice to come out and meet other people from the neighbourhood. I really am keen to be involved and take part in as many opportunities to improve ISHA as I can. Community is how I grew up; it means a lot.”
