Upgrading fire safety systems

Installing communal fire detection and alarm systems in buildings where a change to simultaneous evacuation procedures is needed.

Replacing home entrance doors with FD30S-rated fire doors – designed to resist fire and smoke for 30 minutes, giving vital time to evacuate.
Modernising infrastructure

Fitting automatic ventilation systems in older properties to support safe evacuation.

Installing dry rising fire mains in high-rise buildings, giving fire crews quick and efficient access to water.

Completing fire stopping works in loft voids and ventilation ducts to help block the spread of fire and smoke.

Strengthening safety and engagement

Appointing dedicated Building Safety Managers to improve fire safety and build stronger relationships with residents.

Carrying out frequent fire risk assessments, fire door inspections, and housekeeping checks to maintain the highest safety standards.

Partnering with residents through inspections with Visiting Officers, listening to your concerns and taking action.

Testing and maintaining all relevant fire safety equipment, because safety isn’t just about installation, it’s about making sure it works when it matters most.
