Turn off your gas supply at the mains if you can.

  • Open doors and windows to let gas out and fresh air in.
  • Don't switch anything electrical on or off.
  • Put out all naked flames. Don't smoke, strike matches or do anything which could make the gas catch fire.
  • If you have any electrical security entry phones or locks, don't use them. Open your doors manually.

Heating issues are only considered an emergency between 1 October and 31 March and/or if you're a vulnerable customer.

When we attend, we'll aim to restore your hot water within five days but it may take longer if parts are required.

We’ll provide you with a portable fan heater if you need one whilst work is completed and a contribution towards the running cost of this heater.

If there is a fault with your locks, we won’t charge you.

You're responsible for additional keys, lost keys and lock changes. If there is a fault with your locks, we won’t charge you. If you lose your fob, we'll replace it and will recharge you for it. If it is because the fob does not work, we will swap it for a new one.
