Supported housing is permanent or temporary accommodation designated for a particular client group, e.g. older adults, people with learning or physical disabilities, people with mental health issues, those with alcohol or drug dependency problems, single homeless people or homeless families, young people leaving care services, etc.

Supported housing schemes offer support services relevant to the needs of the residents living there.

We have a number of supported housing schemes. Those we manage directly include:

  • a sheltered scheme for the over 55s in Islington and Hackney
  • two supported living schemes for over 55s with care needs
  • a small block of independent living accommodation for over 55s.

We also own two schemes for former rough sleepers in Islington, flats in Islington and Waltham Forest for adults with learning disabilities, and a block of flats in Hackney that provides temporary accommodation for homeless families.
