If you are already known to mental health services contact that service first. If you are not receiving mental health support ask your GP for an urgent appointment. If you do not feel that you can wait then please contact the Camden &Islington Crisis Team

Islington MIND
MIND’s Community Support Service provides support for people who use mental health services or feel lonely and isolated. This includes training, education and employment opportunities together with community leisure and social activities that enable service users to live a full and enriching life.
Recovery college
Courses to help manage mental distress and contribute towards well-being and recovery. Open to professionals, service users, carers or members of the public.
Mon to Fri 10am to 4pm (closed 1pm to 1.30pm for lunch)

Community centre and social activities for people of all ages as well as low cost counselling services and complementary therapies through the Stress Project
Substance use
CGL Islington
Community recovery service committed to supporting individuals affected by substance misuse to overcome their dependence, stay safe and healthy, and work towards recovery.
Mon, Weds and Fri 10.30am to 5pm; Tues 2pm to 6pm; Thurs 2pm to 5pm, 6pm to 8pm
CASA Alcohol
Wide range of help and support for Islington residents who are concerned about their drinking. Open to people aged 18 or above. Also offers support to family and friends.
